I Am Called

At first, we just have landlines. Nowadays, we already have cellular phones (which by the way always come out with newer version one after another), something we can carry around and has all what we need. Other than for calling, it's also for texting, for taking photos, and for entertainment. The question is, have we used  prayer more than our phones?

Prayer is our hotline to God. We should pray when we want to adore, to confess, to give thanks, and to ask for supplies; before we start a day, during the day, and after the day; before we eat and before we sleep.

"He has no cellphone but He is SMART around the GLOBE that's why He brings light through the SUN to TOUCH the MOBILE of our heart in order that we can TALK AND TEXT to our BUDDY with a RED heart because God is connected to us 24/7 kaya naman gumagaan ang life."

God is connected to us all the time. He will never abandon us. He is always there. Open your heart and eyes to all what He is doing for you.

I am called when I saw this Bible.

See the difference between a Bible and a phone:

I don't have a high-tech phone. I own a simple one for the mere purpose of communication.

I was also called when I saw this organization.

I am called, but there was no cellular phone involved. Now, I ask you, what is your call and when are you going to answer it?

"God is not SM, but He's got it all for you; not a REXONA, but He will never let you down; not a GLOBE, but He's making great things possible; not a METROBANK, but in God, you're in good hands; lalong hindi REBISCO, pero pangako, kapag Siya ang kasama mo, ang sarap ng feeling mo."

-The Difference-

I got up early one morning,
and rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish
that I didn't have time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me,
and heavier came each task.
"Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered.
He answered, "You didn't ask."

I wanted to see joy and beauty,
but the day toiled on, gray and bleak;
I wondered why God didn't show me,
He said, "But you didn't seek."

I tried to come into God's presence;
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided,
"My child, you didn't knock."

I woke up early this morning,
and paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish
that I had to take time to pray.

-Heaven's Grocery Store-

I was walking down life's highway a long time ago.
One day I saw a sign that read,

"HEAVEN'S GROCERY STORE"

As I got a little closer
the door came open wide
And when I came to myself
I was standing inside.

I saw a host of ANGELS.
They were standing everywhere.
One handed me a basket and said,
"My Child shop with care".

Everything a Christian needed
was in that grocery store.
And all you couldn't carry,
you could come back the next day for more.

First, I got some PATIENCE:
LOVE was in the same row.
Further down was UNDERSTANDING:
You need that everywhere you go.

I got a box or two of WISDOM,
a bag or two of FAITH.
I just couldn't miss the HOLY GHOST,
For it was all over the place.

I stopped to get some STRENGTH and COURAGE
To help me run this race.
By then my basket was getting full,
But I remembered I needed some GRACE.

I didn't forget SALVATION,
For SALVATION was free,
So I tried to get enough of that
To save both You and Me.

Then I started up to the counter
To pay my grocery bill,
For I thought I had everything
To do the MASTER'S Will.

As I went up the aisle, I saw PRAYER
And I just had to put that in,
For I knew when I stepped outside,
I would run into Sin.

PEACE AND JOY were plenty
They were last on the shelf.
SONG and PRAISE were hanging near,
So I just helped myself.

Then I said to the angel,
"Now, how much do I owe?"
He smiled and said,
"Just take them everywhere you go.”

Again, I smiled and said,
"How much do I really owe?"
He smiled again and said,
"MY CHILD, JESUS PAID YOUR BILL
A LONG, LONG TIME AGO."
